• Introduction Electrical Machinery Control and Application (EMCA) Laboratory, located in the Technology and Engineering Building of NTNU, Taipei, Taiwan, was established in 2014. We focus on the developments of high precision and intelligent control systems for automation and energy management applications. We welcome students who are interested in the motion control and power electronics with their practical applications.
• Advisor Syuan-Yi Chen was born in Changhua, Taiwan in 1982. He received the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering from National Central University, Chungli, Taiwan in Jul. 2010. From Oct. 2010 to Dec. 2013, he was an R&D engineer and project leader in the Information and Communications Research Laboratories, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Hsinchu, Taiwan. From Feb. 2014 to Jul. 2017, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan Normal University, Taipei Taiwan. Currently, he is an associate professor at the same university. His main research interests are in the areas of nonlinear and intelligent control, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and vehicle power management and control.
